Julia can help you with all levels of training, from puppy/beginner to trial standard.

Usually she will have an initial meeting with you to understand both you and your dog, and discuss aims and aspirations.

Julia takes a structured approach and will develop a plan for strong foundations for an obedient pet or prepare for gundog work in the shooting field or competition work, all using positive reward methods

Individual training lets you work at a pace to suit you and your dog.

It may be that you just need one session to work out a specific issue, the occasional meet up to keep you on your toes, or regular sessions to ensure that you have the working companion that you need.

You will work with Julia to ensure that whatever level you want to achieve, you have a plan to help you get there

We also cater for training buddies – bringing a friend with their dog can let you help each other’s progress, and give the dogs downtime to assimilate training and teach patience.

We can also run larger group sessions – we recently hosted 6 friends with 14 spaniels between them for 2 days of fun and learning.

Gundog Training

Whether you want a picking up dog, a dog to beat with, or to learn to compete in tests and trials, we can help you to get the basics in place, improve the performance or add the finishing touches.

We have varied ground, with rush, rough pasture, ditches, banks and hedgerows.

Our training pond gives a variety of water retrieves, including a small island.

We have access to woodland out of season

This lets us train at the appropriate level from simple to demanding.
