Our ground of rush, rough pasture, ditches, banks, hedgerows, and water makes an ideal training venue.

It is ideal for HPR’s, Retrievers or Spaniels, and the ground offers all levels of training from easy to very challenging.

We also have access to woodlands out of season.

Foundation skills are taught within an enclosed paddock, with retrieving lanes, brush piles and retrieving square.

We have a natural pond with island for retrieving in and accross water.

The ground is available to hire for trainers, individuals, groups, clubs and societies, and can be used both for training and for tests.

There is ample parking, and excercise areas.

We can rent by the half day or full day.

Our large barn with power is a great place to meet, take a break, have tea and coffee and enjoy your lunch

It can also be used for puppy training and as an indoor classroom.

The Bristol and West Working Gundog Society regularly use us as their training ground.

They held their 50th anniversary working test on our grounds, with a celebration in the barn afterwards.
